The Oarlock and Sail Wooden Boat Club is a Vancouver-based club for enthusiasts of small wooden boats. The club's purpose is to:

  • Create the opportunity for people interested in small wooden boats to get together to socialize and exchange knowledge
  • Develop the small wooden boat community
  • Bring together resources to assist in the future development of a wooden boat centre
  • Foster interest in, enjoyment of, and construction of small wooden boats

Oarlock and Sail is registered under the Society Act of British Columbia. The Club publishes three newsletters a year and generally meets on the third Thursday of each month. Meetings feature guest speakers, hands-on activities, discussions, and refreshments. Besides the monthly meetings, there are also lots of opportunities to get involved through field trips and club projects.
